THE PRICE OF FAME IS HIGHER THAN YOU THINK…

Joel Brewer is going nowhere. Struggling with writer’s block, the part-time author’s fortunes change when is asked to co-write a book with his successful friend. All seems fine, until his friend’s untimely death.

The passing of his friend is somehow tied to the mysterious death of rock star Lucas Wilde some 40 years earlier, a man rumoured to have sold his soul for success. To get to the bottom of  what really happened to his friend, he’ll need to find out what happened to Lucas. The answer lies in a mysterious box given to the author by his friend just before he died.

He learns that Lucas was suffering from writer’s block himself, but his prayers were answered when, at a party, he and his friends used a Ouija board. From then on, the rock star’s dreams were filled with the sinister presence of a busker - a man who could make all of Lucas Wilde’s problems disappear with a simple handshake.
